Re Post Create a Long Beanie for winter

I posted this a few years ago but thought it is now August. Even though the sun is shining today in a few weeks it will be Autumn and we will be hurtling toward Winter.  So I thought I need to stay ahead of the seasons and decide on my winter wardrobe and accessories.

This is a pattern for a long beanie, I knitted it in black acrylic wool like fiber, but I have an idea for something a bit more exciting for this year.

Any how here is the re-posted page with the pattern.  If you knit it I would be very pleased to see your ideas and results.

MY Extra long knitted beanie

I wanted to knit a long slouchy beanie but I think I over did it LOL  However someone pointed out that it would be good for a person with  Locks or Long hair.  And what do you know I actually sold it on Ebay.
