Making Patterns

The last few weeks I have been obsessed with creating patterns out of my images just to see what I can come up with.  I am also looking for images within the patterns mostly faces to create new characters.

My Method

Take an image I have taken or created or edit.

Change the hue and saturation and add some text.

Add some random marks in a contrasting colour,

Then used a filter - Effects- Reflection Effects -  Pattern

Rotate by various degrees

and watch as the pattern changes.

Rotate again
